Sumonax contains high concentration of useful obligate anaerobe, gram-negative bacteria capable of growing in soil as well as water.
How it works?
Sumonax secretes, siderophores, Pyoverdines which creates shortage of ferrous molecules. This shortage of ferrous creates adverse atmosphere for harmful microorganisms, thus killing them due to unavailability of ferrous required for their normal growth.
Sumonax also secretes antibiotics like pyoluteorin and 2,4-diacetylphloroglucino that inhibits growth of harmful micro organisms.
Sumonax by secretion of exopolysaccharides imparts disease resistance in plants.
Recommendation:
Sumonax is useful for control of Pythium, Rizoctonia, botrytis, Phytopthora, fusarium, anthracnose, and Verticillum wilt, which are causal organism of various plant diseases like, Downey mildew, damping off wilt, fungal wilt, blight, anthracnose etc.
